Habitat for Humanity ApostlesBuild Fundraiser and Ground BlessingHabitat for Humanity ApostlesBuild Fundraiser and Ground Blessing!High Street United Methodist, Covenant Presbyterian, Risen Christ Lutheran, New Moorefield United Methodist, Enon United Methodist, Medway United Methodist, Maiden Lane Church of God, Asbury United Methodist, St. Josephs/St. Raphaels Catholic, Christ Episcopal, Northminster Presbyterian, and Middle Urbana Missionary Baptist , come together to support affordable home construction for a Clark County Family In July of 2008, Clark County Community Habitat for Humanity sent out a call to churches in the community to join together in the battle against substandard housing – 12 churches answered. High Street United Methodist, Covenant Presbyterian, Risen Christ Lutheran, New Moorefield United Methodist,, Enon United Methodist, Medway United Methodist, Maiden Lane Church of God, Asbury United Methodist, St. Josephs/St. Raphaels Catholic, Christ Episcopal, Northminster Presbyterian, and Middle Urbana Missionary Baptist Churches all committed to raise a portion of the funds needed and to provide 1/12th of the labor to build a home in partnership with Brinita Bush and her family. On March 7th Habitat for Humanity will host a ground blessing, the culmination of months of hard work, as representatives from all 12 churches come to celebrate the beginning of construction at 1170 S. Bell Avenue. The celebration and ground blessing will begin at 12:00pm and the public is welcome. To help raise funds for the ApostlesBuild project, several churches will join together at Un Mundo Café, located at 801 W. Main Street on March 6th for an evening of uplifting and positive music. Music starts at 7:00pm - admission is free, donations accepted!
