    • Oktoberfest 2008 brought to you by the Springfield Kiwanis. This event will take Springfield by surprise as we revive the traditional October celebration with some very new twist.

    This family event will take place on October third and fourth in Veterans Park. Last year the event proved to be successful and that this community had missed an October celebration. Over seven thousand people attended and we look to 10,000 in attendance this year. The proceeds raised from the event will support the programs of the Kiwanis Club.
