Five Hundred Dollar High School Cross Country Mascot Challenge!
The Rules
#1: Every team must have a mascot. A real mascot and you can’t just wear a bandana and call it a mascot. Represent and make it legit! The mascot must run the race. The mascot can be a student, coach, or parent.
#2: Every team must have AT LEAST 10 people on their team. You can have 52 people on your team, but not just 8. These people must be athletes on the team, coaches, or parents of students on the team. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please bring a form of I.D.
#3: You can register for the race and have school coach list you on a team.
#4: Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams will take place after the race paid to school cross country team or athletic department. ($400 first place team; $100 second place team)
How your school team wins:
The mascot runs as fast as possible. We will record the time of the mascot during the race. For every team member that finishes the race, there will be 10 second deductions off their team mascot’s time. So.... Your mascot finishes the 3.1 miles in 18 minutes. Your team has 10 people finish the race, including the mascot. 10 people x 10 seconds = 1 minute, 40 seconds. Your teams overall time is 16:20.
SIGN UP Individually NOW and Coaches register your team the morning of the race!
