Inventing the Future

The Heritage Center

THEATER & PERFORMING ARTS

April 21, 2010 to
April 21, 2010

The Heritage Center
Springfield

Start Time: 7:30 PM

At the turn of the 20th century, Ohio-born inventor Thomas Edison and the Wright brothers were perfecting inventions that changed lives world wide, Ohio native Charles Kettering designed the automobile self-starter, and his employer John Patterson created an efficient factory system at the world renowned National Cash Register in Dayton, Ohio.

Mad River Theater Works’ Inventing the Future musically tells this story, reminding us that the future is formed by our creativity in the present, and that a balance of knowledge, creative thinking, conceptual understanding, and skill development are vital to a well rounded education.

This Creative Connections program is presented admission-free.

Join us at 7:00 PM for a special Heritage Center Tour highlighting “Springfield Inventors,” hosted by the Heritage Center of Clark County.
