Thodos Dance Chicago returns to Springfield to perform a varied and highly charged evening of dance! With choreography created by established American choreographers, including Founder and Artistic Director Melissa Thodos, this evening will feature the Fosse Trilogy which consists of three works originally choreographed by Bob Fosse in the early ‘60s - Mexican Breakfast, Cool Hand Luke and the Tijuana Shuffle.

Bob Fosse is considered one of the greatest American choreographers of the 20th century having won eight Tony Awards, an Oscar and an Emmy. Ann Reinking, who received a Tony Award in 1997 for the re-staging and transition choreography for Chicago, will set these works on Thodos Dance Chicago.

Springfield’s Gary Geis Dance Company will again have the opportunity to perform a new work choreographed especially for them by TDC Artistic Director, Melissa Thodos.
