Glen Campbell Concert Postponed

Clark State's Glen Campbell concert, scheduled for Saturday, March 1, has been postponed due to performer illness. Attempts will be made to reschedule the performance. Patrons with tickets should hold on to them, and they will be notified when new arrangements are made.

Singer, actor and television host Glen Campbell is truly a living legend. His hits have appeared on both the country and pop charts and he made history by winning a Grammy in both the country and pop categories in 1967. Campbell has also won Male Vocalist of the Year from the CMA and ACM, as well as CMA’s Entertainer of the Year. During his 40 years in show business he has released more than 70 albums, sold 45 million records and had 27 top ten hits. Some of Campbell’s cross-over hits include "Rhinestone Cowboy," "By the Time I Get to Phoenix," "I Wanna Live," "The Dreams of the Everyday Housewife," and "Gentle on My Mind." Campbell became a world-wide star as the host of "The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour" and has also released a series of Gospel albums. Debby Campbell has learned from the best, her father Glen. Debby inherited more than just Dad's good looks; she's developed into quite a singer in her own right. Debby will be performing with her father on this very special evening. Music fans of all genres will enjoy seeing this legend (and his daughter) take the stage for a night of hits and memories old and new.
