  • A new play based on the children's book series written by James Howe about a vampire bunny that sucks the juice out of vegetables. The story is centered on the Monroe family and their pets and is told from the perspective of their dog Harold. A bunny with strange eating habits and strange vampire-like qualities, Bunnicula comes to the Monroes on a dark and stormy night while they are watching a Dracula film and eating Count Chocula cereal. Because of this, they dub him Bunnicula. Their cat Chester, however, is convinced Bunnicula is a real vampire and a threat to the family. What follows is a charming romp in which vampire movies and family life intersect and finally ask the question: whose in charge, people or their pets?
