The Springfield Civic Theatre is proud to present Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods October 16 – 19 in the Clark State Performing Arts Center’s Turner Studio Theatre.

October 16, 17, 18 - 8:00 P.M.
October 18 - 2:00 P.M.
October 19 - 3:00 P.M.

This musical intertwines the plots of several Grimm fairy tales and follows them to explore the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of Beanstalk fame,) Rapunzel, and Cinderella are all tied to an original story involving a Baker and his wife and their quest to break a curse and begin a family. Of course, they encounter the Wolf, a Witch, the Giant and others “in the woods…” The second act truly explores what happens AFTER “happily ever after…”
