The Department of Music presents a variety of performances by students, faculty and guest artists. Unless otherwise noted, all events sponsored by the music department are held on campus, admission is free, and the events are open to the public. The Witt Series presents major events that are free and open to the public. Students can also enjoy an impressive array of off-campus concerts, including those presented by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and the Springfield Arts Council. (Admission is charged for all SSO and SAC events.)
